1.Institute of Forestry (IOF)https://iof.edu.np/

It was founded as the Nepal Forestry Institute in 1947 under the department of Forest, Government of Nepal. In 1972, IOF become part of Tribhuwan University and was renamed as “Institute of Forestry”. It is the oldest and prestigious institution for forestry in Nepal.

  1. Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU):https://www.afu.edu.np/

AFU is the first state owned and technical university of Nepal, established in accordance with AFU bill enacted by the parliament in 2010.

1.Faculty of Forestry is the main campus to study Forestry Science situated in Hetauda.

  1. College of Natural Resource Management, Katari Udayapur is affiliated to AFU. It is currently offering B.Sc. Forestry program with affiliation to AFU. It enrolls 54 students annually.
